We held our first ever Skype visit today. On the big screen was educator and Newbery Honor winning author of 'The Underneath', Kathi Appelt, who answered questions about her writing and about craft in general.
Last minute technical glitches were sorted out by the time everyone was seated, and we all agreed that it was like having Kathi in the room with us (albeit larger than life!) as the video link was so clear!
